How we work
The practice helps enterprise, healthcare, SaaS, and AI teams make complex products clearer to adopt.
- Start from the job the product has to do, and the place people get stuck.
- Make the next decision obvious before adding more interface.
- Leave the team with files they can build from, and stop when that scope is done.
- Work directly with the person who will do the work.

SapphireX
Why founder-led matters
You work with the person who makes the design decisions. There is no handoff to a junior team. Capacity stays limited to a few engagements so the work is not split across a bench.
Role
Founder & Principal, SapphireX. Six or more years of product design and strategy work. The focus is enterprise, healthcare, SaaS, and AI products. Role titles and years at past employers are not published until they are confirmed.
Education
Safa is beginning a Master of HCI & Design (MHCID) at the University of California, Irvine, in Fall 2026. The degree is not completed.
Professional background
Selected professional experience of Safa Badamchi includes Amazon, Juniper Networks, and MDxHealth. Those organizations are prior professional context. They are not automatically SapphireX clients. Details are on the work page.
